Hi Everyone !!!
This June I completed my 9 months at Career Level 12 and Sub Level 3 I.e, CL 12.3 at Accenture Operations. My Annual Talent Discussion and One-on-One with People Lead is complete as of last week.
I have 3 questions now :
1. When can I expect to move to 12.2 ?
2. What is the general hike I can expect ? And when it is reflected ?
3. When will be the variable pay will be paid out ?
Can anyone here help me with this performance cycle part ? I am really confused.

Depends on where I was in life.
Obviously I went with FAANG but earlier in my career I would have chosen MBB mainly given travel.
Early in my career, MBB just because it probably exposes you to a broader range of skills. Then once you’re tired of the grind/ hustle, exit to a function you know you like at Big tech because you’ve tried a bunch of things and picked a favorite
Is PM at FAANG really that lucrative? I’m considering a move but don’t have enough details on career path, scale of impact etc. to make a decision

What is your definition of lucrative versus WLB?
My total comp is variable because it is heavily RSU dependent. LT it can be lucrative as I have employees who have been at Amazon long enough to see 9x stock growth.
I have seen 2x stock growth so max salary +100 shares that will vest this year as an example.
How would you define “early” in your career? <2 YOE? <5 YOE?
First 3-5 years of starting on a path, acknowledging that you might reset that count if you’re switching paths (eg by pivoting to something very different after MBA)

I’d start out at MBB cuz I would’ve gotten the skills I thought consulting was going to give me then PM at FAANG
Had the choice, chose MBB (post undergrad, so not PM per-say but a rotational PM program)
