Spent 4+ years as CMO of startup company. It was an incredible learning experience but also a very difficult uphill battle trying to steer the owners and the company in the right direction. I’ve just exited the company as of 11/18. The owners expected to storm the marketplace and emerge as a number one brand at only 6 years old without putting in the work.Company had a very hard time understanding the concept of a unique value proposition. Hoping to find a new remote (full time) position ASAP

How much equity at startup?
Doordash and atlassian are truly comparable; go with the team / role / comp you like most if it’s between those two. It would be Atlassian for me given what I know about their culture and prospects as a business.
The other two are not comparable to the public ones. The differences between an early stage startup, a late stage startup, and midsized public company are likely more impactful than any other differences in the roles. So decide how much you care about comp liquidity, role autonomy, having things defined vs up in the air, risk, etc.
