What would you chose and why? Strategy and ops at doordash, revolut, atlassian, or a small start up (<40 people)?

DoorDash is renown for poor culture and wlb, I’d go atlassian

like

And lowball comp

like

How much equity at startup?

Doordash and atlassian are truly comparable; go with the team / role / comp you like most if it’s between those two. It would be Atlassian for me given what I know about their culture and prospects as a business.

The other two are not comparable to the public ones. The differences between an early stage startup, a late stage startup, and midsized public company are likely more impactful than any other differences in the roles. So decide how much you care about comp liquidity, role autonomy, having things defined vs up in the air, risk, etc.

I vouch for Atlassian or a small start up. Avoid DD

A stub year here. Partners and counsels in my group are super respectful. When they revise my work real-time, they'd often ask me "what do you think?" After they make the change, that is. I know they do this out of courtesy, but I feel dumbfounded sometimes- it kinda feels pretentious af for me to even say that's great or yes, I agree.

Can you help me come up with a better response lmao

For 🐠 in Seattle/ Greater Seattle Area, where is the best place to live for a 30M who likes to get outdoors but appreciates what the city has the offer. Also needs to be close enough to downtown core to commute.

Cost would also be a factor - looking at ~$3k fully loaded total housing cost with insurance, utilities, etc.

Open to downtown but noting that: budget may restrict options; also large population of transient folks from my prior visits.
