What would you do if you knew you were having close interactions with unvaccinated people on a daily basis and your firm is not enforcing masks at all?

Omg everyone needs to chill for real and let people do what they want to do. If you’re vaccinated, you’re protected. Even if everyone if your office was vaccinated, you’d all still be at the same risk for the delta variant. Vaccinated office or unvaccinated office, you end up at the same place.

We also don’t know the long term issues caused by the vaccines which contain the same inflammation causing spike proteins as the virus itself. Life is never safe, it is an illusion. I am frustrated that most lawyer type humans can not handle that reality.

I would call the cops. Then go outside and run around with my arms flailing screaming for help. Then find a new firm asap bc that is a toxic environment.

If you’re vaccinated, you don’t really have much to worry about from my understanding. It wouldn’t bother me, but everyone has a different risk tolerance.

I would be having a serious sit down conversation with the partners. Being vaccinated doesn't seem to be protecting against the new delta variant

I’m worried about getting it (even if it’s mild) because the long term effects of it are widely unknown. I’m fully vaccinated.

Continue on as normal. I’m vaccinated. I hear they are supposed to work. Other people’s medical decisions are not my business.

like

I’d say a prayer for them bc unvaccinated people are the ones at risk of death or serious illness. Other than that, I’d proceed with my day unmasked. Everyone gets to choose about whether to be vaccinated but I’m not masking up when I’m not at significant risk since I’m vaccinated but others are bc they chose not to be.

Get vaccinated and then have a beer with them.

Vaccinated people are also shedding and causing infections. Just wear your mask and chill

False, have you seen the recent announcements? Vaccinated carrying same level of viral load as vaccinated, just way more likely to be asymptomatic

Definitely mask up when you have long meetings in close distance or in a small closed area. My husbands fully vaccinated coworker picked the COVID this way (did not mask) from the unvaccinated boss (not good at keeping mask in when talking).

I’m currently working at a law firm in San Diego specializing in coastal property rights as a litigation paralegal and legal assistant. We received a minute order from a preliminary injunction hearing. Our client was ordered to post an injunction bond of $2,500. First our client walked to the courthouse to try to pay the bond up front, but they would not accept his money. He tried to call several bond companies, but all said the amount was too small. So how do you post an injunction bond?

Manager 1. Transfer from audit into FDD (and have to do one more busy season in audit), or leave to a financial reporting job at a large public co for 40% raise?

Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls
