After uploading documents in Bosch First Services one week ago, there was no update from them, when I replied to them via mail - They said we will get back to you.Is this sign of getting compensation breakup or they looking for other candidates.I have offer from CGI and only 3 days is remaining to accept. What should I do in this case?As CGI has said if you don't join after accepting offer we will blacklist you.

meanwhile, I'm also receiving a lot of strategy & analytics/ bizops interviews from big tech companies including twitter, salesforce, facebook. very early/mid interview stage and not sure I'll be able to get the interviews done in time.
given I want the flexibility to jump around, do you think it'd be better if I got the offer, to take the data science role? or wait it out with a "bigger brand name" tech company for a strategy/bizops role.
from a comp perspective, I am guessing the data science position's TC is 120-130k for MCOL. the other strategy/bizops roles have ranged from 110k-150k
rn I am thinking if I got it, I'd take the data science role because it's very hard to break into this field and I can imagine it's easier jumping to say bizops from data science than vice versa.
also, the company I'm interviewing as a data scientist has ipoed and has been experiencing a lot of growth in their stock the past 2 years
1.) I don’t think data scientist will be harder to break into. It’s pretty high demand and as long as you have the skill set you should be able to break into it anytime you want.
2.) It sounds like this current company hasn’t given you an offer yet. If they do, tell them you need some more time to think about it. It’s perfectly normal to be interviewing at other places - and they know that. This is a huge life decision, you don’t just want to jump the gun. I would also talk to the recruiters from the other larger tech companies and let them know you’re in the final rounds at other places and hopefully they can speed up the process.
