[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

I would make the entire POV about brand safety risks and advertiser adjacency, and cite Breitbart among my strong case studies
This ☝🏻
Where else will Motel 6 find their customers?
It's a POV. Back it up with reasons why it isn't viable.
Yeah, I’d do this. Build the case against it. Make it look like a suicide mission that it is. If you don’t, someone else in the agency/your client might let it happen.
Do nothing but cite Sleeping Giants and what a horrible risk it is for the brand https://twitter.com/nandoodles
The #1 most popular last name now in the US isn't Smith or Jones. Its Patel. Keep up with em.
This. You don’t need to make it personal. It’s a brand risk and you can state that objectively.
Oomph. I’d decline.
No way. I mean where does it end? A creative brief for a digital campaign on storm front and holocaust denial websites?
Well. The decision had now been made for you.
It’s a job. Don’t always agree with what’s asked, but in this case it’s a legit request.
Um, no, this is how you are complicit in extremism in all forms: racism, xenophobia, sexism, ableism, etc. I assume you’re white because of this comment - do better. It’s time for you to realize the part you play in upholding white supremacy.

Your POV doesn’t have to be supporting, you can strongly recommend against advertising on the platform for a variety of legitimate reasons (brand safety issues, etc). If I was asked to do a POV on Parlor it would be all about how it’s a terrible idea. I don’t know much about Parlor aside from the fact that it’s a disgusting cesspool of horrible people, but I imagine it’s also inferior as an advertising platform when it comes to targeting and scaling, so you can list what it’s limits are and what better options exist. Now, if you’re told to put money there anyway despite the POV then you have a dilemma, and would need to decide what your limits are (I’d probably refuse but that’s easy for me to say when I’m not in that situation).
Yeah, no. Bye. 👋
What kind of clients would the advertising be for? Confederate flag manufacturers? Ted Nugent camo cosplayers? People who like to dress up like they are patrolling the streets of Afghanistan when they go to WalMart? If so, sounds brilliant!

Here OP, make this item #1 in the POV:

Say no.
Not a chance I’d work on this.
Here’s your answer.
