After the final interview, HR reached out and said they would like to extend an offer. HR gave a ball park of 135k - 145k base with about 15k in sign-on equity and 20k annual bonus.

After a couple of days, HR person came back with with 125k base and 20k annual bonus. No sign-on equity anymore. What should I do given that these numbers seem way lower than the initial range provided? HR claimed it’s because of “market conditions”.

If a job tells you the base salary range for a position is $95k to $110k, how much more can you realistically ask for? Does anyone have an experience where they negotiated a salary over the initial salary range max?

I requested a salary adjustment based on my responsibilities as a UXR. I’ve been in the role for nearly 2y and finally heard back about my salary adjustment.

I was expecting a 24% increase as I was severely underpaid but received an 18% increase. I realize this is still a great bump and I’m grateful for it but I also want to be paid fairly.

First time posting here but… I’m currently a 1st year Tax Analyst making 58,000 plus bonus. I was contacted by a recruiter on behalf of a nonprofit seeking a remote executive director. Recruiter asked what my target salary is. According to 2020 990 info, the total annual revenue was $242,732, and total salary expenses was $150,448. On their website, there are four staff listed not including the ED.
