Talk to HR, look at company policy, check if you’re use it or lose it with time off, get paid out on that vacation and find another job.
I would laugh and say are you going to pay me my PTO? If not I will be taking off my time.

Riot. We have unlimited PTO. Its not like he/she can stop people from taking sick days, which is what will end up happening.
It happens. Our company said the same thing. November and December are black out months and we aren't allowed to ask for any days off during that time. It sucks but it is what it is.

Block your calendar instead of requesting PTO, take the time anyway
