This is my laptop now and I love it! Client laptop is a slow, clunky Dell. I didn’t hate the Surface Pro at my last client. They’re really light and convenient for travel.

Newest MacBook Air running windows. I just prefer the apple hardware

D2 yes - I am being 100% sarcastic above lol

I started with MacBook Air (love it) + Windows VM. Had to switch to HP elitebook (converts to tablet) since Outlook & Excel are a pain in OS X & in VM. Depends on what you do

Passed the loop interview but no offer, has this happened to anyone else?

Recruiter followed up post loop interview to let me know I passed and the team would like to extend an offer, however the role has now been filled. She is waiting on another role to open to extend an offer. Has this happened to anyone else and did you end up receiving an offer/ how long did it take?

It’s been a week and want to know if this is just a polite rejection or if I should wait it out for another role to open.

I've been working for 3 years since graduation and the first 2 years I worked in aviation consultancy. Mostly doing data/BI analysis but my main title and job was airport planner. I've made a move to the data science team and have been working as a data scientist for just over a year now and I'm only earning £37k.
I want to make a jump to a higher paid data science role but I feel a bit insecure that 2/3yrs of my experience is not in data science.

I interviewed with Salesforce a month ago and right after the interview HM went on PTO. I followed up with the recruiter and they mentioned that they’re waiting on HM for the decision. I gave up on this opp but last week out of nowhere recruiter emails and asks if I accepted another opportunity and mentioned that HM is still interested in my candidacy but also interviewing other candidates. What should I make of this situation?

I took PTO in early Mar and now taking PTO in late May, 1 week each. Am I being unreasonable? Assume there is someone that can handle the workload without me he just has to do 1.5x the work same as I do when he’s gone and the team is being told months in advance.

Hello all
I am a biology graduate. I worked in cancer research and development for more than two years. Recently moved to Canada, and now I'm wanting to transition into clinical research.
Most jobs I find online ask for atleast 2 years clinical experience.
Does anyone have any tips on how to procure this experience? Should I invest in a course? Or should I volunteer at a CRO?
I recently got offered a clinical admin position, would this count as clinical exp?
Thanks
