1. The simplicity of only being able to wear black suits.
2. The flexibility to buy the stocks you want, even tho you'll never have the time to do the required research.
3. The pleasure of describing PTO as a boondoggle engagement.
4. The abundant exit opportunities to the Big4 strategy teams where you basically have the same job.
5. The bespoke jokes to be the recipient of when swimming in the fishbowl with the rest of us.

One of their McK ____ roles like operations? These pay significantly less and are not too exciting I've heard from a few guys in there

like

^ worth mentioning.. up or out has become much less strict in last few years. More flexibility than before with timing of promotions, more part time options in general which can be used to slow trajectory, etc.

Ac1-- operations is just a practice any consultant at mck can align with and is paid exactly the same as all the generalists. Implementation and solutions are different tracks.

Benefits

@Mck1, yeah meant implementation and solutions, thanks

Implementation pays the same as generalist. Base at least. Don't know about bonuses.

Substantial difference in perceived brand thus a lot stronger exit opportunities. Seems like a lot more flexibility in roles as well. I.e. You can tell staffing you would like to find a role in tech and they will wait till a good role pops up instead of big4 where you take what's available at that moment

Current MBA, looking to go into product management. I’ve never had product experience and have to choose between a product management internship or a growth & analytics internship.
I want to be a good job candidate with experience but... The PM internship’s company doesn’t have the most exciting product, but the founder said he would train me on PM responsibilities. The other company has a cool product, and is heavy on mentoring but i would not be directly involved in PM stuff.

Which is better?

This offer is comparatively lesser than all other offers, I still considered this one due to brand value. I have 10 YOE and working in Azure Data Engineering. Just got 56% increase in fixed pay whereas others are offering 100%. Even now Cognizant is willing to give more than 100%. Just wanted to hear from you guys on this.
