What would you say is the shortest acceptable (wouldn’t raise questions) tenure in tech?

Depends on level and prior roles. Imo it’s acceptable to jump around every two years.

At junior levels, 2yrs/job is fine. But I think once you're gunning for more senior positions - atleast having 1-2 jobs with 5+ yrs of experience and some promos/increased responsibility will look very good

I work in advertising as a Media Planning supervisor at an agency. I am exploring switching to PR. I graduated with an AdPR major, have some experience planning events (digital and in person) through work, and worked on the reputation side of my account, advertising positive messaging about the client and reporting on the impact of the message. Always worked on very big brands. How likely am I to land a lateral/higher role in PR, if I’ve never worked in PR per se? I’m looking at ~$130k salary.

i am currently in a point where i feel i have no where to go in my career, in the past 10 years i enjoyed my time with the company and have been trough several positions, one side, i can get new knowledge, but this position transfer makes me feel like i got no respect from my organization because the level i have now compared with 10 years ago is still in a same level, while others moving up, i was still in this place.

Is this a dead lock? firms exp matters much more than a CPA license?

Need an opinion.
Which track would you choose for your career in the pharma/ biotech industry: specialist or generalist? Why? More specifically, generalist strategy manager of internal strategic and ops projects or specialist R&D portfolio manager?
Additional considerations:
* Not asking for myself but for a friend working in a pharmaceutical company
* They are currently located in Europe but interested in an international career and in an option with best progression potential

I went to a T14 law school, got great grades and glowing recommendations, and wrote (what I thought was) a great writing sample. But I got rejected from all 70 federal clerkships I applied to. The only thing I can think of is: I took a non traditional route after law school and did a 2 year public interest fellowship in a niche field of administrative law. The rejection gave me a lot of self hatred. I still really want to clerk. Any advice? What is wrong with me? I feel like a failure.
