Following, curious as well

Currently at the M2 level and headed towards my promotion year for SM next year. Currently trying to see if I want that MD life style or not but so far doesn’t look like it. Will probably do 2-3 years at SM and then try for a Director or Senior Director role at a major payer in the finance or Biz Strat teams.
Following...also in provider, where high paying leadership roles do exist but not as plentiful as other industries. Nature of the biz with mostly NPO/AMC. I’ve been offered hospital AD roles already but the pay just isn’t as good as consulting. I’ve known some SC and M from my group exit to D/SD at large health systems but they had prior industry exp as well. More lucrative in plan / life science and may try to cross sector myself.
