What’s a car you once owned and got rid of, but wish you’d never let go? I bought myself a 2008 Mustang Bullitt as a graduation from law school present to myself. I traded it in on a Boss 302 four years later. I regret it so much I peruse ebay listings for the best low mileage Bullitts to talk my wife into a 30k purchase of a 14 years old mustang…..

None. I have owned some nice cars…but nothing that the next car couldn’t replace.

That’s impressive. A no nostalgia buyer.

Trying out bumble bff. Met a girl for drinks last week and we seemed to hit it off. We mentioned doing something again and coordinating later in the week. I texted her today to ask if she was still interested in doing something this week and she said she was super busy with a huge project and apologized. But she didn’t offer the weekend (which I feel is included in “this week”), didn’t say “lets do another time” or anything like that. Should I take the L and count her as not rly interested 🥲

Thinking about buying a used luxury vehicle (BMW 4 series, Jaguar XF, Audi, etc), target $30K-$35K, less than 20K miles, and <3 years old. Any suggestions about target models? I don’t like the idea of buying new because of the premium/immediate depreciation, and leasing feels restrictive. Is this a bad idea?

Buy/lease now or defer to Q1-2023?

My car broke (engine seized, 10y old). I am interested in 530i ($62k price), however 3year lease is $1,000+ monthly (with $5k down). Monthly lesse payment is 50% more than bmw advertised offers (“south FL dealers are not participating in the program”)

Q to car gurus/experts- should I defer purchase/lease for 6 months? My logic, the impending recession will reduce demand and we will go back to more balanced market (lower prices with negotiation).
