I recently got a verbal offer from KPMG strategy. Is that more prestigious than like, most other firms? Like, I know MBB is done with recruiting; I feel like below MBB for name recognition is the Big 4 and other firms aren’t as reputable. I’m trying to decide whether or not I should interview and apply to other firms or just take this one (assuming a written offer ever comes along). Also, I prioritize work culture and exit opportunities over salary, but don’t want to be paid below poverty line.
Anyone know EY manager Oracle/SAP salary range?
What is the salary band for EY SCs, risk consulting, mclean VA, financial services, 2 YOE?
What salary should I target moving to industry? I have no idea what is reasonable. I’m in a HCOL area, senior with 3 years of experience. Currently making 100k in public.
When did you feel like you were successful? People around me think it’s impressive that I work at Deloitte; however, I’m miserable and hate the work I’m doing. Just accepted another job that others would deem a dream company and salary but I’m just afraid of being miserable there too. I just don’t feel like I’m good enough, will be happy, or be in a position where I feel like I’m successful as others.
Hi Folks, Do you guys know, if Accenture is going to discontinue ATCI skill bonus in near future? TIA
A1 at PWC in HCOL in CA, how much is the salary?
Has any of you been outsourced and underpaid a slave salary? How do you deal with the trauma of knowing that the work you have been doing for so long is actually worth so much more? I'm sorry to use this bowl for this kind of conversation but I'm having suicidal thoughts and sadly my only other option is also been outsourced.
Looking at a move to industry soon but wondering to hear if negotiating salary in this job market is advisable
Avg Manager salary in Consulting VS Industry?
Hi All, I currently hold an offer for 28.2L + 1.5 Joining bonus in Lilly and got selected in EY GDS waiting for HR round, how much can I expect from EY? I have submitted documents to EY GDS on 11th October. When can I expect call from HR as well?
Is it normal for a Jr Strategist to be the only Strategist on a project? I’m on a small team strapped for time/resources and 8 times out of 10 in this position, most of the time without any strategic oversight (unless I express needing help/support). I pull a lot of weight and my work gets great feedback from the Account team/clients - I can’t help but think that maybe I’m being taken advantage of by being paid a Jr salary
Hi all, Does anyone know the salary expectation for Strategy Senior Manager at Charles Schwab? Position: Senior Manager Strategy Location: Dallas-Fort Worth YOE: 5 years
7 YOE considering KPMG advisory role. What’s an acceptable base salary range in a MCOL location. And what should it be in HCOL. New to advisory
Hello fish! Any idea about Affirm Inc. ? I got reached out for an analytics manager role. How’s the WLB, career progression? Also, will exit opportunities be severely restricted to FinTech when I want to move? I’m pretty sure the recruiter is gonna ask me for my salary expectations during the first call, can anyone share a salary range and breakdown? Thanks a lot!
Bodybuilders and lifting bro/sis: how do you guys manage to squeeze in any trainings on the road? Hotel gyms aren’t typically enough and I’ve felt my gains significantly deflated
Psyching myself out for an interview coming up. The anxiety is driving me crazy, not about how I’ll do on the interview but what happens if I get/don’t get the offer. Words of advice/encouragement/positivity would be appreciated 😭
Is consulting as advertised when it comes to career acceleration? Personally, I am starting to doubt it. It feels like the skill sets are a bit dated and the world has moved on. Also, we get put on so many random engagements it’s hard to build tangible skills. I am talking big 4, MBB is a different game.
Finished my google fin ops onsite interview last week and still waiting to hear back from the team on the results. Anyone on the same boat ?

Why does everyone put Tech / FAANG on such a pedestal, claiming it’s better than MBB. Sure, the comp and WLB may be better, but you won’t be doing as meaningful and impactful work e.g. Govt Covid response, Gates foundation projects, industry defining projects in the space of a few months etc
Does MBB have a GPS practice? If so, where do they recruit from for experienced hires? Big4, Booz, government itself?
Does anyone know what the typical compensation package is at Capital One for a Director of Product Management in their NYC office?
Anyone here work in house at Amazon or have good tips or insight into the onsite interview process? Have an interview in about a week and would appreciate any insight or tips.
How does ZS compare to PWC Healthcare in terms of project work, work/life, and pay for a new hire out of undergrad?
What is the best certification to pursue in this area? Looking at SHRM-CP but want to learn more about others.
Anyone watching Indian Matchmaking? Aparna and her mother have to be the worst, right? She thinks she's a godsend and quite frankly she looks like a potato, is ignorant, doesn't sound nearly as intelligent as she professes to be, and is even more negative than I am! That's gotta say something.
Has anybody hopped over from an MBB/T2/B4 type of firm to a boutique? Thoughts /perspectives? Would appreciate either a push off the ledge or a pull away from it. Generally fed up with the long hours, lack of project variety, and the firm’s small practice and lack of focus in my interest area and wondering if things would improve at a boutique that specializes in what I want to do.
Looking at buying a single family home in Austin to live in, and curious if anyone has a recommendation on home insurance providers with the best rates and what to watch out for when shopping around?
I’ve been totally buried in work for the last 2.5ish months and it’s taken a toll on me. I’m feeling very burned out, to the point where my productivity has tapered off over the past two weeks and I’m no longer able to bill the hours I want. I genuinely try, but at a certain point each day (usually around 6.5 hours) I just feel like I can’t do it anymore. My family is urging me to take PTO to recharge, but I’m too scared about losing more hours to actually do it. Does anyone have any advice?
