Are there new PMs starting remotely under IC5?

Inspired by Marty Cagan The messy middle by Scott Belsky Zero to one by Peter Thiel

Inspired by Marty cagan. It’s basically a guidebook and I have so many post it notes and scribbles in that book

The book that got it right was the original - “Mythical Man Month” by Fred Brooks. It was published in the 1970s! There are some things that are not so relevant but the conclusions are exactly what people still face today.

Not necessarily a product book, but storytelling is an important piece here. I like “Storyworthy” for this. Helps teach you how to frame stories about your product, users, pain points in a way to keep folks engaged.

Should we assume that ANYone at the top of their sport/industry has mental health issues? We celebrate the Biles’s, Jordan’s, Belicchick’s and Brady’s. We celebrate the Musks and Jobs of the business world. But what drives that fire and ambition? The degree of relentlessness required to get to that level seems to require so trauma or imbalance to fuel, right? Even partners in our firms (not EXACTLY equating them with Michael Jordan) - is the drive to the top fueled by mental health issues?
