What’s a good path for breaking into this field?

What are some good events, groups, places, apps, etc. to meet folks to expand your professional network?

Recently sworn into NY bar, looking to transition from litigation to transactional work. Is it possible to have part time employment as an attorney doing transactional work? And I'm trying to move from employment litigation to health/environment law, how difficult would this be?

I think I made a wrong turn in my career. Anyone took a role that’s left them unable to grow/progress and now want to back out of the proverbial parking spot and course correct? What did you do?

I'm an introverted person, like to keep to myself, focus on work, spend the rest of my time on family, gym etc. I've been told that I need to work on my communication and client relationship building skills. any books I can read? I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed? Personally I am happy and love the work but fear for my career progression.

What sort of exit opportunities should I be pursuing if I’m really not interested in doing analysis-focused work? I support using data to make decisions, just not at all excited by playing with it

I'm coming to a conclusion that 40 hours/week is not a good balance. Maybe for me. I left consulting only to go back to an MSP, but I am reaching burnout again. In the last few years, I came to the conclusion that working 32 hours/week would work a lot better for life balance. Is there any opportunities like this out there that include benefits?

Looking to move to London (international move) at the end of next year and wondering if anyone knows of any teams/firms that primarily do ODD work? I believe S& Deals primarily do CDDs and DDV primarily do separations.

I do a lot of ODD work now with a mix of CDDs and separations and looking to focus more on ODDs when I get to London. Open to moving away from S& / PwC if needed.

How long does it takes for you to feel confident on what you are doing at FDD? Essentially I am not trying to stay at FDD forever but want to make sure that I learn all the necessary skills before I go.
