LinkedIn is your friend. Use it to contact recruiters as well as hiring managers directly. If you are serious about your search make sure your profile looks good and consider paying for premium so that you can send messages to people without being connected. Good luck
How's your LinkedIn profile look? I get interview offers on the regular.
I just have the companies I have worked for listed and my education. I don't have it in resume format with bullets. I also don't have a cpa
What region / industry are you in?
CPA helps tremendously with exit opportunities. The crazy thing is you don’t really feel different once you get it, but you see your peers who don’t get it have a slightly harder time getting good paying jobs
Yes just keep applying and contacting recruiters until you find something. It only takes one good job offer to get you the heck out of PA!
The right opportunity will come. Hang in there!
You have to have a plan—if you’re just trying to get another job in public your approach is different than if you want to go to industry. Customize your résumé and cover letter to each job.

Use your connections. Surely you must have some to tap into. Ask for introductions, etc
OP, LinkedIn is literally the best way, even if someone has only your application they WILL look up your LinkedIn anyway. You have got to have your resume on there and connections and better yet endorsements. Make your LinkedIn one of the best on the site and recruiters will be flooding your in box.
I think the endorsements thing is silly, but lots of people have them now.
