Apply to Enterprise Strategy, no joke they have a lot of ex-MBBs there that do quite interesting work. It’s super small part tho but the only area of IBM that touches some type of strategy work.
You may need referral from a Partner and you need to interview with case interviews to get in. But there is not the pressure you would have at an MBB interview.

Learning is something we do in every practice . At the moment for example - if you are in DTT , there is a big focus on safemaker , C3 , etc . In HCT - lot of focus on AWS , in SAP there is focus on CFIN and so on .
“Truly” learn - that onus is on us as consultants , not on practices
i feel you, I have the same situation, if I want to learn there is always an additional cost outside IBM. I am attached to a finance team yet part of consulting/CIO. looking to work in project management however, i am limited to learning only tester or analyst which is only a lateral move, same pay more work
