If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

A different client base...
I like this culture better than ey - team oriented and forward thinkers. Just give some bs reasons
I feel like we're more relaxed than the others. Our focus is on client service first (obviously) but for as much as we complain the culture focuses on employees being happy and flexible without repercussions. Plus jeans if you're not seeing a client
Tell them your switching for career opportunities not merely for firm purposes. There is only so much you can know about the new firm. You don't work there yet. Your focused on opourtunity and career development.
Honestly I'd say I'm looking for stability - with all the layoffs you feel that the focus is lost for the client or business opportunity; making a change to get back to business and remove yourself from the stress of the environment. If you are still at EY this will show that they value you by not having let you go!
Because that's the decision you made.
Definitely culture
Could Deloitte and PwC folks lay down what their culture is here... Isn't the culture more or less the same?
@ PwC1, jeans all week if you don't have client meetings!? That's a good enough reason for me. @EY4, it still needs stronger argument I think to make it sound reasonable.
Yeah man if you don't see the client then jeans. its the freaking best. But im in tax so I never see the client lol
Well, why are you switching?
I agree pwc feels most relaxed and laid back
