What's a good starting salary for Project Managers in Texas with and MBA and Bachelor’s degree?

Around $90-98k.

This might be on the high end for a starting salary, in my opinion. Unless OP gets really lucky with a well-funded startup in a metro area or something like that. I'd keep expectation around $85k-90k.

What kind of industry are you looking at? That can make a huge difference in comp.

Networking question here. A retired partner at the firm I used to work out reached out to me recently about attending an afternoon during the week (b4 4/30) with one of his long time clients. The partner and I have kept in touch since I joined my new firm and I feel like his invitation is a great networking opportunity since the client (who I have worked with before) is on a number of boards. Torn as how to request off as an S3. Could materialize to nothing but could be good for reconnecting.

Tips for not crying when you’re asking for leave? I’m so stressed and overwhelmed with work and the CPA exam and I want to take time off to just put all my energy into the exam and be done with it. I want a month and a half to finish it up and then have a week or two to decompress before I come back. But anytime I wanna talk about it, the stress and nerves overwhelm me and my eyes start welling up. Idk how to control it.

Hi all , I am currently working at Deloitte as a QA lead . I manage a team of 10 . I want to break into roles at meta , google as a program manager / project manager ?

I learned that someone we just hired, in the same team, 1 level lower, came in making 20k more than me. This role is based in SF, and I'm in the midwest.

I have my master's, two years with the company, and was recently promoted last quarter.

I feel some way about this, and I'm wondering if I should bring this up with my manager? I'm grateful for the raise they gave me and the promotion last quarter, but I don't understand how someone at a lower level can be making more? I'm I being greedy?

Im currently studying Industrial Engineering with a minor in management. I’m interviewing currently for consulting, and theres a VC course at my school that seems really interesting but I can’t fit it into my schedule without removing the last class I need for my minor. Would not getting that minor do any harm to me short or long term? Im thinking that if I end up at consulting especially no one will care about a management minor they’ll just look at the firm I worked for.

I just sent in my application for Accentures consultant development program. Is there anything I can do to make sure my application gets noticed? Does anyone know of any similar programs I can apply to?
