Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Depending on the company, that may require an MBA first, but not all are like that and it depends on how they define product marketing.
Product marketing is much more technical than I anticipated, I work in spreadsheets most of the day. I came from agency account management but light experience in data analytics helped me make my case. My now-boss was open to someone with a creative background as long as they had an understanding of how to infer patterns and draw insights from spreadsheets. I’m really happy with the move, though.. success is measured objectively. Happy to answer q’s via DM.

PM central teams (PMX, Data Science), Epsilon and Sapient all have Product Marketing teams.
