I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

Congrats on the offer! (I have no idea re salary tho)
Thank you!
Agreed with everything said here. Tech, pharma, finance are the big payors. Most other industries are significantly lower. I just broke 200tc in the Philly area and I’ve been out of school 14 years.
Thanks

What’s the company size and public/private?
Another agree with A2. Some of the salary ranges shared are laughably out of touch and unrepresentative.
I’m a 5th yr in-house in Atlanta at a F10. TC 175k no equity.
Happy to chat more if you have questions. I was recently in the job market. Feel free to DM
I’m not sure Boston is comparable to Philly/Atlanta comp wise
Correct
Depends on the industry
$200+ in a small market outside of tech and other top industries is a really good offer. I make less than that as a 6th year (though looking at a nice raise this year). Despite the “low” pay, I couldn’t be happier in this role. And in a smaller market that pay goes further anyways.
