Hi everyone!
The startup I’m with is growing fast and we are hiring Tech recruiters with at least 5yrs of experience:

I’m with them now for 3 months and I never felt as psychologically safe as I feel now — our Head of Talent is incredible, so as our leadership team as a whole. We have a true collaborative culture, and I am learning a lot with them. If you have any questions, feel free to DM or email me at laura@laskie.com :)

Link your previous experiences to that as well. How will (whatever you do/working on big projects?) help you plan and execute your idea? Are there any gaps you need to fill that are well filled with an MBA?
This is a great starting point, compelling hook. I would suggest you just keep telling the story (to yourself, or anyone who will listen!) as you approach application time - that's how you will refine and learn about which parts resonate (with yourself and others)
MBA to help be gain the skills and knowledge for that, as well as networking for potential possible collaborations (or even future investors). I’m passionate about economic empowerment, and I’m intrigued by the whole notion of credit and how much it makes up the economy - so I believe this will help me reach my goal.
Would this be an okay theme for my personal statement? I don’t have the nuts and bolts as to how I’ll get started yet. I’m also aware that the microfinancing industry is somewhat saturated. Doesn’t make me any less passionate about it though.
If you have any suggestions as to how to make this stronger that’d be much appreciated too.
Too vague. What skill/knowledge are you missing? What have you done so far to move in that direction (or collect other relevant skills)? Why make the move now vs in 2 years? Why an expensive MBA vs a cheap finance Bootcamp?
Find schools that recruit in those areas or focus on entrepreneurship and spin it that way for each school. Most schools (besides MIT) want to know your short term and long term goals. They want to see that you have a clear idea of where you want to go and what you need to get there.
In your essays you need to also signal what you have to bring to the school and how you will enrich their overall experience. So make sure you also think about that.
