To the extent this is allowed, could some EY NY folks DM me photos of the new EY office space in NY? Recently got an offer and plan on talking to more folks soon, so I definitely hope to hear their perspective, even though many have gone in a few times. Ultimately, I’m just curious as to what it looks like (and get a sneak peek of the view :0) Thanks all! EY
Hello,
My name is Vania Awuah. I attend Regent University and I’m majoring in Industrial Organizational Psychology. I have my bachelors in Psychology. I am currently looking for jobs in my field such as consultant or human capital jobs. I have about 1-2 years in Human Resources but it is hard for jobs to accept me with my field. I let Regent University career service help me with my resume but I haven’t been able to find a job or get any job offers. Is there’s any advice or anything I can do? Regent University @

Average places do 2-3% raises I think. This just to “keep up with inflation”. The promotion salary depends on your industry. I can offer some info about professors and generalist consultants but this again depends on the firm/institution and if you bring in money/sales, demonstrate leadership skills, have good impact, etc.
3-5% to try to somewhat match inflation
Is 3-5% for promotion? I assumed it’d be around 10-30^

Hard to put a percentage on it, tbh. If you really want, anywhere between 5% - 50% for the “next level” up. Some jobs are quick to promote with a strong up/out culture and some jobs like in government sectors are slow to promote but have nice benefits and are incredibly hard to be let go.
10-25%
I agree. Only in rare occasions have I seen a promotion fall outside of this range.
3-5 for merit. 8-12 for a promotion where I am.
