Hey everyone! I need some advice. I’ve accepted an offer for a new job, but I’m in a bit of a rush to get out of the position I’m working right now. I start the new job July 18. My job now doesn’t care about their employees, and it’s a health risk for my family and I due to unsafe COVID policies (i.e. forcing you to come in even if you’re sick, making you use PTO for COVID even if working from home, etc). Is there anything short term I can do until July? Or should I stay until then?
Considering a shift into Deloitte and looking for more information on the deloitte partner pension plan. I’ve heard rumblings of 300-400k per year after you turn 59. Can someone with insider info share more? Deloitte

I was contacted by a recruiter just before I went on maternity leave. We stayed in touch and now, a month into my leave, I am preparing for a first interview at Google for an interaction designer role. First, any tips on how to prepare for this interview? Second, I feel like if I’m doing all this interview/material prep, I should go all in, apply at other big companies and try for multiple offers. Would I be wasting time since I don’t want to cut my leave (goes to July) short?

IAP was initiated for me last month even though my performance was good.
My project told that they have not given my name for this and will support me in every possible way but as soon as IAP started their behaviour changed and I was treated very badly. Is it a common practice in Deloitte?
This personally has affected my mental and physical health.
Has anyone negotiated pay at a hospital or company that states they have different levels/tiers of fixed pay for so-and-so profession and can’t budge? I’ve worked in other fields prior to healthcare and have a hard time believing every (pick profession like PT) gets paid exactly (pick random number like $72,345). I’m skeptical because it sounds like “we have levels/tiers of fixed pay and can’t budge” is just an excuse to shut down negotiation right away. Can anyone share their experience?
So anyone know about Maternity leave policy in Citius tech ? After joining are we eligible to go on maternity leave after 1-2 months? Or, is there any policy that we need to work for certain period to be eligible for ML ?

I'm starting my first consulting job in a month after being a data analyst since I graduated college. I know they say it's a people job, but I've started to get some serious social anxiety. Everyone I've talked to seems so confident and cool, and I'm scared that I'm just gonna crash and burn bc I won't be able to form relationships w others as well as the average consultant/people won't like me. Anyone else ever feel this way? Or is this a good indication that this career isnt for me?
Hiring Committee going away? Gone? Heard it's for some roles but not all. Can any Googler in here verify? Have my on-site early May. Thanks!

I have 8+ YOE with a masters in Analytics, and I've managed a team within a smaller company. I recently spoke with a Facebook recruiter about a product analytics position and they said they are aiming for senior hires. They don't seem to consider me senior, but I do. Am I wrong?

Thinking of going back to public accounting. 3 years real estate tax/audit experience. 2 years SEC / PCAOB experience. Currently a manager at a pre-ipo company. Getting a little pessimistic about my future at current company. Seen more of a cost rather than a profit center. Any one experience the same? I miss being around people I can actually learn from and collaborate with.

I am in desperate need of advice. I am currently employed as a “health assistant” in my local school district 5 days a week. I do many things that a school nurse does, but the school nurse is only at our location 1 day a week. The next coming school year I was told I have to give a student medication through a g-tube, but I do not have any credentials. This doesn’t seem right to me. Thoughts?

Just graduated with Bachelors in Healthcare Management with an emphasis on patient safety/quality. My current position, that I’ve had since before graduation, does not offer upward movement and I’m miserable. I’ve been in healthcare for 7+ years with a very broad range of customer service/insurance/process improvement roles. I’ve applied to hundreds of jobs, had only a handful of interviews, which have all ghosted. What am I doing wrong here? Any advice appreciated.
