Hello all, I've been offered £90K for a technology role as Manager with EY UK. I have 18 yoe but only recently in Consulting. I asked the question if I can be offered as Senior Manager, but was told that's not possible for this role. Does the grade difference matter at all in terms of benefits/pay hikes/bonus, etc?

Book recommendation - "Ride of a lifetime" by Robert Iger. Story of someone who started as a studio operator and went on to become the CEO of Walt Disney. Really relatable to most of us who are employees and not entrepreneurs. Books on Steve Jobs, Elon Musk are all good but I loved Robert's story more as I could relate and aspire. How he takes tough decisions, how he negotiated with Steve Jobs to acquire Pixar, his honesty, humility etc. are all something we can learn from. Go for it fishes 😄
