Insane billability, high turnover, unrealistic client deadlines, and leadership turning a blind eye to mental health and burnout.

Is it becoming a cultural issue? Yes.
To say “the same thing is happening at other agencies” is to almost excuse this at BCW and that’s not okay. We have churn across every single level from AC to EVP.
And as for salary, we still pay less than Edelman and Weber. Negotiate up if you’re coming here.
All agencies definitely are not that way right now. If anything we’re leaning more into work life balance and other benefits recognizing that good people are in demand everywhere. I truly hope things improve for you all soon because it gives agency life a horrible reputation.
I think it’s like every agency right now… people are leaving for insane salary jumps and better work/life balance. Lots of leadership changes in the last year so still in the break down to build up phase in a lot of departments.
I feel like It’s a great time to get in, get the salary you want and be the foundation of a team.

Some of the problem children in leadership have thankfully left. But overall it still sucks.
