Amex platinum for regular lounge usage for free booze and meals. Amex bonvoy brilliant that I am cancelling before annual fees kick in. Amex business card that I opened for expenses and to get a 85K marriott pts bonus. Alaska card that I opened for the points and use occasionally for Alaska purchases.
A2 now I don’t feel so bad with all the premium cards I have. Those annual fees rack up!
CSR, Freedom Unlimited, Freedom, Chase Amazon, and then one random credit union card that I keep open just for the bump to my overall credit limit.
Get the most out of them by using Freedom Unlimited for everyday purchases, CSR for all travel and dining, Freedom for the 5% categories, and then Chase Amazon exclusively for Amazon purchases. Transfer all UR points to CSR of course before redeeming.
C1 CSR = Chase Sapphire Reserve
I use Chase disney for the points. I run everything through it and pay off every month. Go to disney 3 times a year for basically free. It's my thing don't judge. lol
I would go more often if it wasn't so hot most of the year. I go during the cooler months onky. Oct through Feb. Epcot food and wine first week of Nov, Christmas festival in Dec, and another just for kicks right before busy season in Feb.
1. Capital One Savor for 4% restaurant cash back. 2. AX blue preferred for 6% on groceries and 4% on gas. 3. Citi double cash for 2% on everything else.
By the way Cap One card is no foreign transaction fee... perfect for eating your way through Europe. 😋✈️🇮🇹🇬🇧
Biggest ROI has been CSR. I have Amex gold but will be cancelling at the end of the year
Citi cashback - no annual fees and 2% cash back on all US purchases! Downside is 3?% international fee
Whichever card's minimum spend requirement (bonus) I'm working on.
A card for forex fees (I shop internationally), a card for everyday expenses (1.7% cashback), and another temp card giving me 10% back up to a $2K spend.
Other than that, mostly go for no fee cash back or annual fee cards with a great cash back
Many do groceries, gas and restaurants. I don’t do the shopping for groceries or eat out a ton, and drive electric so... those categories are useless for me
I’m in Canada - it is the TD Cashback Visa. 10% back on. $2K spend. I couldn’t say no, has a $124 annual fee but is waived for year 1, so I plan on cancelling before then. They’ll do 3% on groceries in the meantime so that’s what I’m doing .. after I hit the $2K spend
Amex Plat for almost everything, esp. the 5X on airfare, rotate through the other Visa/MC cards for places I can't use the Amex and to keep the credit lines active.
Amex Business Platinum, Citi Prestige, and Citi Premier for all travel, dining, and accommodation expenses. Amex Gold, Amex BBP, Citi Double Cash, and Square’s Cash Card for groceries, day to day expenses, and coffee respectively.
5x dining abroad with no foreign transaction fee is also pretty decent
I use two cards. My corp Amex for everything M-F and NFCU cashback card for everything else. I guess I could potentially be earning more cash back elsewhere, but consolidation has done me well.
My Amazon Rewards have been good to me. It has offers to claim but most importantly I earn 5 cents on every dollar for the two places I shop most: Amazon and Whole Foods.
