Loads of Korn, not as much ferry as you’d think

The triple A golf tour?

All things considered, it’s pretty good. I have more autonomy and choice in what I do, who I work with than I did at Deloitte, and there’s more humanity/reasonable expectations. That said, you don’t have the same bench of junior talent that can just churn and turn beautiful decks - we’re working on building up that skill set. It’s smaller and we’re going through some growing pains as we figure out and get to where we want to be when we grow up, but I like that - it reminds me of D in the early 2000’s.

We have a few people here at D that you to work there. I would suggest going on DPN and connecting with them

It was a good place to work until I got canned.

Sounds like a carnival

My older cousin went on tour with Korn in 1998, he said they were pretty weird guys and he wouldn’t recommend it

Should I ask for a raise? My 6-month review is next week and I’m thinking about asking for a raise. I’ve never asked for one before and normally would never think of asking for one until at least 12 months but in the last couple of months my role and responsibilities have enhanced significantly. I don’t have much experience as this is my first job in advertising (comms background) and I don’t want to come off as naive or ignorant! Any advice would be welcomed. Thank you!

Personal injury folks- I referred a friends case to a firm, which promised me 1/3 of their fee as a referral bonus. I participated in the initial intake meeting, etc. They got some medical records and eventually filed suit, before discovering a conflict. I took over the case again personally and negotiated a settlement after conducting EBTs. What sort of fee split seems equitable?

Is it mandatory to stay in the city you assigned to? I talked to the recruiter, she said EY expect everybody to be in the city in September. Even though your project is 100% remote, do you need to? I got no relocation package so I have to think about this.

Hi. I'm a fresh MBA graduate from IIT-B with no prior work experience. This Covid has taken a toll on the opportunities for fresh graduates and I'm looking out for people who could guide me or refer me for the same. I have 9 months internship experience across marketing and operations domain and 6 months experience of running my own business which I had to close down. I've been a freelance Content writer and event organizer as well. It'd be really helpful if you could help me with this. Thanks.

Ladies—I am terrified of flying—particularly the parts where we are not over land and the parts where turbulence is really bad. I literally just sit on the plane, staring at the map on the tv screen, with anxiety. I’m supposed to be flying across the world on a 14-hour non-stop flight in 2 weeks. I grew up moving/traveling and therefore flying a ton but always hated it and was scared. I haven’t been on a plane since September of 2019 (due to covid and moving to the same city as family). Advice?

Considering switching from B4 audit to FDD in either B4 or Houlihan Lokey. Spoke with someone at PWC who said they usually do 50-60 hour workweeks. Anyone at HL by any chance that can tel me about their work schedule and culture?

Hi All, single female with endometriosis here. The last few months have been really trying for me, for many obvious reasons and some personal. But wanted to share that this morning my doctors office received the authorization approval from AETNA to use the egg freezing benefit. I cried all morning as this isn’t something I’d normally be able to afford on my own. Never give up hope even during the most difficult moments. ❤️

How do you share your offer letter for counter offers to new company when they ask for it? Do you share the full offer letter? Or do you hide company name & other content? Or you just send them the salary breakup?
