How to get project in Xorient?
I have a weird experience with KPMG India . Two weeks ago I had salary negotiation with the HR manager. He told me that the offer will be released in a couple of days but I haven't received the offer letter yet.I tried reaching out to the HR manager but didn't receive any response. Shall I take it as no?
Hi all,
I have two campus EY Deloitte on the table from Deloitte Tax (BTS), and EY Tax (DSG). Both are located in the SF Bay Area. Deloitte is paying 2k higher base and a 2k higher bonus.
I have to make my decision by the end of next week, so I’d appreciate some input and opinions on which offer I should take.

Hi all,
I just came to realise Deutsche Bank has a fixed rule of max 30 to 35 % hike on fixed component and remaining 10 to 15% variable i.e. total 50% max hike you can ask for no matter how good, skilled you are.
Is it true?
(I got to know this when an HR called me for a Frontend developer role)

Great people and culture. On the consulting side hours have fluctuated for me over time. It’s either feast or famine, no in between. That’s good for some and others would hate that. Benefits are good, too.
Unlimited PTO—- that’s great for people that actually take it. I personally like having a bank vacation that you either get paid out for/ use it or lose it. It forces me to take it. Some people are really good at what they do and others are just okay. All get treated the same.
MC1- Yes. It happens on occasion, but it is not the norm to be extremely overloaded. If you get to a point where you cant manage you just need to work with your manager. Most managers will be able to make the necessary resource adjustments or even insert themselves where if necessary. Although of course some managers are better than others.
Great culture, very employee focused. My WLB has been great but I think it can vary a bit by team (e.g. consulting services will still be somewhat project dependent). No PIP culture I’m aware of
What is a “PIP culture”?
Being placed on performance improvement plan. Amazon and Facebook have extreme PIP culture that I’d personally like to avoid!
