Hi All, My Junior has decided to put paper, as she wanted to pursue Cdac course from Sept-22. She just informed that she signed a bond of 2 years and currently she has completed 1.7 years in HCL. What should she do now? Results is on 10-aug and she decided to put paper on that day itself (Earlier she told the same to Sr. manager) Kindly suggest if any action would be taken by HCL OR No experience letter would be shared with her. Optum overall has been a good experience for me so far - but it’s a team by team, department by department thing to consider.
Upside:
✅ you’re part of a major organization with broad reach that can impact millions of people.
✅ pay is pretty competitive
✅ benefits are pretty decent
✅ WFH is common
✅ you can move around between UHG / UHC / Optum
✅ you gain insight into providers and payers problems
Downside:
💩 we know the salary range for every job but unsure about how you reach the high end of those ranges
💩 you might be working with teams globally - I personally feel for our offshore teams working late at night to come to our meetings
💩 At times it can be a matter of who you know not so much how good you are, that can get you included in certain engagements - but this also seems to be a team by team situation
Overall, I think it’s a good company to work for.
The culture is excellent, but the environment is very fast-paced. If you're ok with that, then you'll do fine.
Aetna just posted a bunch of new jobs in Utilization Management, Case Management, Analyst and more... And more to come from what I was told
I've heard the people that work there are very friendly and the pay is great. They also have really great benefits
Health benefits are good this year but from my experience they don’t give decent raises or bonuses. They say they value the employees but it’s not felt by many.
