What’s like to work at the Southeastern veterans center in spring city PA as a NP

Heard a lot of bad experiences from former employee friends about Southeastern. They all loved the residents but the management really sucks according to them. They make work unbearable. I was told about the micro agressions my friend has experienced feom one of their bosses.

That really depends on how you are able to adapt. Every place has its pros and cons. It can be fun if you just enjoy it and it can be boring if you chose to disassociate yourself from the society.

I'd definitely steer clear if I were you. Really toxic environment.

I’m in a bind. Long story short, I have been working with mental health adolescence on separate occasions such as, case managements with at-risk youth, foster care, ABA, now one of the highest paid tech at a psychiatry facility. Physical therapists…
What city do you practice in? How many years of experience? Current salary? What setting do you practice in? What are the differences in pay between different settings in your area (ie. outpatient ortho versus home care).
Personally I practice out patient ortho in Rochester, NY making $65,000 annually with a good benefit package. 6 years of exp. And not entirely sure how much more I could make in home care/other settings.

I guess my question is should I past this CCS exam then focus on trying to get experience as a data analysts or forget about the CCS?

Physician planning to go the industry route. Prefer early therapy development role (rather than liaison, safety, or business - for now)

For those who recruit:
-What do successful candidates have in common?
-What are fixable pitfalls for MDs transitioning to pharma?

For those who have done it:
-Are there any books or resources on this you found helpful?
-Mistakes you made that can be avoided?
