I’m 50 and would like to retire early at 55 so that I will be in good health to volunteer, take classes, travel, socialize with friends, and play tennis. Kids will be out of college and will have no debt. What annual after-tax income stream would you consider enough to safely retire early? One of my girl friends, and I went to Fairbanks, Alaska recently for a week. It was great!! If anyone wants to see the Northern lights, winter is the best time to go. We stayed at a well known hotel, ate out for every meal (4 nights, 5 days) + went on tours and dog sledding... if I take out our flight expense it was about ~1200 for each of us (including some light shopping too)

My worry is that if there is a need to claim in future, it can be done all online by my nominee? Is it recommended to take policy online in any platform(like policybazaar)?
Other options I'm considering are SBI life, HDFC life which offices are available in my locality.
