I heard first comes the promotion to CDO
Ehh I mean senior analyst is not really a promotion IMO. They created that level in 2014 to keep people happy at analyst
Yeah I imagine you will get promoted this cycle. Promotion to senior analyst should only take about a year - though it is hard to tell since it is a relatively new stage. About 25% of the analysts got promoted to senior analyst in March of this year during the mid year cycle.
Don't listen to the top persons advice saying it is a 1 in 10 chance. Either he / she did not understand the question or does not work at Accenture at all. Those comments are very off mark
The promotion to sr analyst is supposed to be done after ~6 months and doesn't have to be during the usual promotion cycle. My understanding is that it's based on a recommendation by your manager
I have this same question and I16 months here. I was catapulted into CDO a couple months ago so I no longer have any hope that I'll ever be anything more than a level 11 analyst. <333 big brother
^Yes that must be why they got no up votes. So what do you think?
Recent grads who started in July/August were promoted in March. Those of us who started after that haven't been promoted yet because we missed that cycle. But since I'm still eligible for OT it's cool b/c my managers don't like me working over 40 hrs/wk. Tbh it's troubling that you haven't been promoted in 14 months, and who knows when the next round of promotions is coming because ACN hasn't given any word about what will replace the performance year/laddering
Your managers don't like you working over 40hrs/week? What kind of BS company is Accenture running over there?
^A company in which actually smart people aren't working over 40hrs/week to compensate for their stupidity really pisses you off that much? Lol

Very low. First cycle is rare (probably 1 in 10 or less) especially if you are coming straight from school. If it's going to happen, typically you should already know you are getting promoted or at least be very confident that it will. If you haven't talked about it already with you CC / project it prob isn't happening this round.
Federal clients aren't down to pay us overtime. So I grind Monday-Thursday, get shit done, and leave a little early on Fridays. I don't work hard, I work smart
^^^^ is completely wrong. The answer to every single question at Acn is "it depends" I am in the same boat as OP and I started 1 month before him/her. Our careers are a Rubik's cube
Promotion to Senior in under a year? I'm sure your clients would like to hear that..
Roses are red violets are blue we all have the same clients and we all poo
