Hi guys I have an offer from Accenture and no issues in terms of CTC, job profile or other things. The only thing I am skeptical about is the job security. Do they really get rid of employees in a regular basis or the covid situation was a one time measure? This would probably be the last switch in my career and security would be of utmost importance to me. Please advise

Ha, he basically said start over 😂. Life’s rough man. But ya, far as I’ve seen FDD exits are traditional starting points for most PE careers, except we never get there. Get into data or something man, finance is dead if you didn’t start in I banking

Hi I have a question. What did/do you think the next option was/is for an FDD manager? Like what did you want to do? No one does FDD for fun

If you’ve done FDD for 3 years you should know IB is even more boring, young bankers (and at any reputable bank you would reset to analyst 1) are literally just overpaid secretaries. PE you can’t get into from FDD unless you have connections, so depending on your social circle that could be an option. I would consider a data transition, I do analytics for FDDs and CDDs and it isn’t as bad and exits ops are better IMO (director of analytics/BI/FP&A/Reporting). Knew a guy who got a VP of operations at a 1.5B aum fund as a 3rd year senior manager
