Shocked at the Nissan hate, I seem to only find Nissan rouges where I rent and I think they are great. The pathfinder not so much.

Ford Focus

Anything Nissan, anything hundai, anything Kia, anything gm. Some that I enjoyed that I would purchase would be Jetta or Passat

Wow, I've never second guessed my Altima until right now. Lol

Minivan.

PT Cruiser. Overall look sucked and didn’t handle that well

Mazda cx-3

Welcome everyone! I’m so happy this is being utilized. A little background on me, I got my Bachelor’s when I was 20 and immediately went into both Child & Adult Protection careers. I then worked as a crisis counselor and a behavioral health specialist, and now I’m 26 at Monroe Plan for Medical Care working on expanding our Health Home Program into a new county where I’m our only employee!! My goals are to grow financially so that I can give back to our underserved populations even more.

My dad has a problem with alcohol. When he stops drinking for a day he clearly exhibits all the signs for alcohol withdraw. Shaky hands, sweating insomnia. I’m so tired of seeing him fall. My mom has passed away (they were long divorced) so I really don’t have anyone to turn to. How can I be supportive without being an enabler? He has lost the last three jobs and is currently jobless and will must likely need my financial help soon.

Joined Virtusa at 21.5 lpa (20 lac fix + 1 lac var + 50k JB)
with:
YoE 8 yrs
Tech - RPA Dev
Curr ctc - 9 lpa fix

Virtusa purposely gave me offer one night before LWD on the name of approvals and I didnt get time to revise other lower offers of
1. Wipro - 15 lpa (13.5 lac fix + 1.5 lac var)
2. TCS - 18 lpa (16.2 fix + 1.8 var)
3. UBS - 18 lpa fix (No var).. not considered due to support proj

I asked 22 fixed to Virtusa but they gave 20 without seeing my offers, did I make good choice overall?

Why is IRA contribution better than maxing out 401k? I've seen most folks contribute the employer match, and put the rest in an IRA. I've just been maxing out my 401k

Hello! I’m a financial advisor and a CFP. Running a good practice but looking for a side gig while my commissions ramp up. Any tips/gig that have worked for you? Ideally WFH, flexible hours.
I have a double bachelors in economics and environmental science, am a good writer, and good at accounting.
Any and all suggestions appreciated!

So, bought a sideshow from Advisorslides. Looks nice. Gives a series of 6 steps to address the topic. Slides go through steps 1 to 4. Nothing for the others. Red flag. I send them a note and also point out a grammatical error. Red flag. Now they tell me they gave me an old download and sent a new one. Grammar error fixed, but a footnote is wrong. Still not slides for steps 5 and 6. They say it is so I can customize myself. There's no blank slides indicating that. Continued...
