What’s perks on an audit makes you look forward to auditing that client again? Such as client buys lunch for the team every day?

I don’t think it’s about the perks. If you get a good team, good client, and clean audit, that’s what I’m looking for.

Client gets us PBCs on time, there are no issues, and we finish the audit on time.

like

Not necessarily a perk but I like working with clients who are intelligent and provide thoughtful and meaningful responses to our audit requests, even if they don’t always provide them timely. Working with friendly people who know what they’re doing and can point us in the right direction makes the experience better.

like

I agree that working with bright, helpful clients makes this job enjoyable. This tends to be pretty rare in my experience so far.

like

Competency on both sides. No passive aggressive vibes from the client.

like

Precovid my client had great snacks at the office. Free pb&j sandwiches in the afternoon, salad bar for free lunch. Can't complain about that.

More seriously, they actively helped us out getting us stuff on time and actively engaged in conversation to help us be more efficient.

So I work for a division called “In house services” where I am essentially an extension to my clients HR. My client recent had me source for a Program Coordinator in Talent Acquisition. They just offered her 7k more than what I make. She acts as a support to TA while I do full cycle direct hire & manage a 50+ contractor workforce managing about 30 open reqs at one time. To my employees, I am their HR and Payroll. I know the client TA people make even more. Is it worth bringing up to my boss?

Just started a new job as an LMHC 7 weeks ago. It’s fee for service. Was told during the interview I’d have a full caseload always and have more stable clients. However, I’ve been getting at least 1 no show/cancel per day and found out that I don’t get paid for it unless the client pays. Now with these no show / late cancels, I have less clients and no new intakes are being put in my schedule even though I’ve alerted the intake dept several times. Is it bad I want to leave already?

This is a different year, and different circumstances. The curriculum is the same, but the approach is new in multiple ways. Face to face students don't get the luxury of changing classes, and there are virtual learners that have to wait on answers to questions they have because their parents aren't knowledgeable of the subject matter their children have difficulty with. Some students that have chosen to be distant learners have no access to the internet. All of these factors are overwhelming.

Any advice on how I address being laid off in my future interviews? I’ve never been in this position before. Currently just feeling sad💔
