I have joned cognizant recently . After 3 weeks suddenly they stated that they will release me to bench . Now Its being 1 week no one contacted me from the team & also they have not released me to bench . Unable to understand the plan now 😅

Manager is saying my skillset is not uptomark for this project . They are expecting high productivity within a week .

My concern - if you are hiring an experienced professional through technical round then how they can claim like skillset not matching 😠

UST global (Hybrid Cloud Services client, 11.7 LPA , 50K JB ,Individual Contributor Role Open for negotiations they will also release offer letter on Saturday)

So I work for a division called “In house services” where I am essentially an extension to my clients HR. My client recent had me source for a Program Coordinator in Talent Acquisition. Just started a new job as an LMHC 7 weeks ago. It’s fee for service. Was told during the interview I’d have a full caseload always and have more stable clients. However, I’ve been getting at least 1 no show/cancel per day and found out that I don’t get paid for it unless the client pays. Now with these no show / late cancels, I have less clients and no new intakes are being put in my schedule even though I’ve alerted the intake dept several times. Is it bad I want to leave already?

This is a different year, and different circumstances. The curriculum is the same, but the approach is new in multiple ways. Face to face students don't get the luxury of changing classes, and there are virtual learners that have to wait on answers to questions they have because their parents aren't knowledgeable of the subject matter their children have difficulty with. Some students that have chosen to be distant learners have no access to the internet. All of these factors are overwhelming.

Hey everyone! Today I got laid off from my job - my entire IA department did. In total I think the company laid off about 8-10% of the workforce. Positives are that we’re getting a decent severance package but I’m beyond upset because I left consulting as a manager (very unhappy) and found this company and LOVED it for its mission and my position. I reside in Columbus, Ohio. I have three years of public accounting experience in India from 2012 - 2015 and was unable to work due to visa restrictions. As a refresher to my career I invested in pursuing CPA. I passed FAR and Audit sections. Should I apply for associate or experienced associate roles in USA public accounting firms?
