What's ppls experience with resume writers? I feel like most are focused on recent grads/ppl trying to break into this or that. Where do you go to find resume writers for tech exec targeting senior leadership positions?

I have an upcoming interview with on of the FAANG companies that was previously a client of mine. Is it ok to speak to the recruiter/interviewer about the details of the project I worked on. Or is that frowned upon and I should anonymize the project details?

I have my stack as a Java developer with Springboot profile for 3 YoE. I had recently joined a company and faked my resume to look like a data analytics one. My hiring manager said it looks good for Python and SQL+ETL but he wants me to do python scripting questions in the client interview which I am not much aware of. So need your help guys on how and what to prepare for client interview side.

Applied to BCG NYC office in December and made it to the final round, but wasn’t given an offer. Want to reapply to NYC, but was told by a friend in recruiting that they wouldn’t give me a first round being that I was rejected only 7 months ago. Anyone know whether it not this is true?

Recently I’ve noticed that acquaintances of mine who work at other consulting firms (usually smaller but some the same size or larger) have made comments about how useless internal firm services are and how recruiters are dumb. Is this standard throughout the industry? This makes me reconsider the industry

I interviewed for a job a month ago. A few weeks after the interview, I was told my feedback was good, but the company was evaluating all positions at the company at this time. Today, I saw the job is no longer posted, but my application is still "active" in the workday system. Anyone have any idea what this would mean? I don't want to continuously bother the recruiter.

I'm currently attending lot of interviews, some interviewers are courteous, introduced them, their work experience, what they do and then ask me to introduce myself. While there are interviewers who don't even tell their name or anything, just join the interview and start asking questions, some interviewers don't even apologize if they join late.
One thing I noted is, these guys are generally not managers or HR, someone who have 1 or 2 years more experience than me.
Any experiences?

Hi guys, Its been almost 2 months since my interview happened. I got an email asking me to upload the docs just 2 days after the interview date. The documents are uploaded and also verified on the ibegin portal on 22nd Feb. The HR called later on 11th March for the basic discussion on the salary and since then it shows "evaluation in process", but nothing after that. The HR as usual didnt pick my call.

Does labs send rejection email? Gave first round, it still shows in process.

I’m going to be making an exit soon to a company that’s working hard to recruit me in. I’m in an AE position. I’d be forfeiting $18k in RSUs vesting, President’s club, and $200k+ in pipeline if I do move. I’m inclined to leave because this would be a step up in a role and I really like the team.

My question is: is it reasonable to ask for a $40k sign on bonus to account for what I’m leaving here? How do you go about negotiating that?
