Hello, patient services representative here. I had moved hospital patient registration to the clinic so I can get benefits. I took a $6 dollar pay cut although I do work from home. I’m pretty knowledgeable on insurance and have a good understanding of how things work. I get paid about $21/hr and it’s just not enough money. I making ends meet working 80 hours a week. Im currently going to school full time and would like some input on what I should do.

Heard a lot about 100k incomes by 25 here. Is it better to attempt negotiating a genuine salary/benefit increase during this upcoming performance review or is it better to keep it to myself, smile for whatever raise they announce for me and apply to new roles to secure the pay raise? It feels like being honest with management might end my employment early or tip them off to the backup actions. It also feels like they potentially would be open to buying my loyalty. Thoughts?

If you are onboarded at a very prestigious FAANG client (had to do interviews, external email, client equipment, AD, and same as employee provisions) and you report to an Engineering Manager at the client on a medium length project in consulting (12+ months). What is the policy for just putting something like this on your resume. “Client (via Consulting Firm)” assuming there are no non-disclosure agreements. Is this frowned upon and should you instead make the Consulting firm the main employer?
