What’s standard dress code in Middle East? I’ll be working based out of UAE. I have some exposure to consulting world but from a different region where things are not too formal. Questions are like what are common brands of suits/clothing for consultants? Also, are apple watches fine to wear for business and work meetings? Sorry for asking point blank questions. I just want to plan accordingly before I relocate.

Hi everyone. I was approached by a recruiter for a role as Senior Associate (Audit) at Grant Thornton Dubai. I'm not based in Dubai. What is the Salary range for a Senior Audit Associate in the UAE,Dubai specifically? It will be really helpful for my negotiation. Glassdoor is giving varied answers.Grant Thornton
Hey Fishes - I’m trying to move back from US to the gulf. KSA, UAE, or Qatar. Interviewed with a smallish consulting company but they decided my profile was more senior for the role. Applying online didn’t get me good salary.
Any advice or anyone willing to refer me?

The brand of your suit doesn’t matter, you just want something that fits well, you can get good navy/dark gray suits made for you for reasonable prices in Dubai
Saville Row in JBR is a good shop as are Stallion, Parmar, and the two places in the DIFC. You can get a bespoke suit for a few hundred bucks depending on fabric etc.
If you’re male then same dress code you’d wear to most client sites in the US/UK i.e., dress pants and a button down. Maybe a jacket depending on your level and how formal the clients are. No tie these days at most places.
Brands - people use all sorts but mostly we have same outlets that you’d find at a mall in the UK or US. Again depending on level you might find people wearing Boss suits or other more affordable ones.
Apple watches totally fine (unless you’re at a sensitive client I’d imagine)
For females slightly different maybe if you’re working in Saudi but other than that it would be the same dress code as at most clients in US/UK. Just make sure to err on the side of being conservative but I’ve rarely seen any dresses in the US/UK consulting world that wouldn’t be fine in the Middle East (bar Saudi) either.
Lastly, make sure you ask people at your office. I always ask my team when traveling to a client site for the first time.

You need to buy a wool jacket for the cold, otherwise you should be fine
