Hi all. The org i work for pays commissions quarterly, 2 months after the end of the Q. I am currently interviewing for a role that i like, but i am also having one of my best quarters and expect to close 500% of target. If I quit right after the Q ends but before the payday, I am worried I will not be paid fairly. I may be capped or something else. What do you think I need to do? I feel that I will need to reject an opportunity i like because of this paycheck.

Hey! I work at a healthcare start up and I earn $95k an year as a Software Engineer II based out on Austin, TX. Recently I interviewed with Visa, Austin and got an offer for the Senior Software Engineer role with base - $125k and a sign on bonus - $10k which totals to $135k overall comp. When I tried negotiating the base salary they said that the comp team isn’t budging on it due to team metrics and my experience (2.5 years as SDE). Is this a good offer to take?

Can someone explain RSU refreshers to me? Let’s say your first year’s RSU value was 200k, at 100 shares each for the sake of simplicity. 5 years down the road the stock doubles. Would your refresher be based on the dollar value or an increase in share quantity. And also let’s say the stock hypothetically goes 10x like Tesla did.
