How hard is everyone pushing their corporate clients to authorize nonresident assignees whose only 2020 US compensation was the value of their 2019 tax preparation?
My clients are pushing back on it this year, and I can't say I blame them. If I were in their shoes, I'd rather take the risk of not filing than the expense of filing again. From my own point of view, I don't really want to spend my time on such returns, either, even if the revenue and easy return are nice.

Seeing your guys posts have me really sad.. So I started at Rite aid 3 years ago at start of Covid when I lost my job (factory) closed with no experience or training.. I’m now MI state licensed, not nationally certified. I fought with the union to get raises in our district and they did give us pay raises on the first of the 2022 year. so making 13.50 with a 25 cent pay raise a year.. I love my job and coworkers and my pharmacist.. but seeing these pay rates y’all have I’m very disappointed.

I received an offer as a Senior QA Engineer in Coforge. The offer mentions a hike of 30℅ from my current salary, no joining bonus and I'm assigned to band 3. There is also a mention of the probation period of 6 months. Can this be considered as a good offer?

Does it look bad if I apply to 2 positions at the same company? Choosing between a BI or FP&A analyst. I value career growth, competitive pay, WLB (okay with working extra hrs once in a while but not daily). As an analyst I have been told (not asked) by one of the managers (not my direct manager) that I need to handhold the sr analyst he hired through every little detail such as helping him find data sources to pivot tables. The thing is there is a button in excel that shows what data the pivot table is sourced. Is it best to keep quiet and handhold this analyst? Or is it worth trying to escalate this? I have limited bandwidth and I have been working 50+ hours constantly. Some weeks 85+hours.

My only draw to industry is the lower hours. What does one do in this situation?
