However, it has been a week since anyone responded with the offer letter . I can still see the status against the job id which I applied to , as "final steps are pending" . Currently work in transactional RE in amlaw100 with 1800 min for low 300k. Mediocre bonuses available for high billing. Been with group for years. Will likely top out at counsel. Good WLB. Have a counsel offer for another amlaw100 with 1900 min for low 400k. Black box bonus. Group has good reputation. They say WLB but they bill a lot despite reqs. Have some family stuff RN so need WLB. What would you do?

I’ve only taken one series of tests (evaluation) via a premier hospital system and the results came back negative due to testing too well, which is extremely frustrating because I exemplify every symptom in the book and then some and they weren’t able to point me in any direction to what it could be. Hadn’t noticed this sub before, and most of the threads are old so thought I’d ask a follow up - how has everyone been handling parenting with public accounting? I’ve got a toddler and my wife is an accountant (industry), and we only have a few immediate family in the country- but they have health concerns. Busy season was rough, things are looking better now as things return to normal. Still working crazy hours if you count the daycare duties on top of utilization targets.
