LGA because it teaches you patience
The delta terminals at lga have been fine for awhile
ORD - Chicago: Flights are always on time, my connecting flight is always in the same concourse I arrive in and it's always clean.
The jokester over here
ATL
A lot of skyclub bathrooms *ahem* denver are just as crappy as regular bathrooms
Minneapolis is nice and has decent food
I live in MN and fly in and out of MSP. I don't know that it's the best airport. I agree with the good and bad comments, the bad simply outweighs the good.
DCA all the way because everything has to be perfect since every Member of Congress uses it and will throw a fit if it isn’t. Also means super convenient city airport (not 40 min outside) with direct flights to about every where you want (especially if you do American) since those MoCs aren’t going to connect. Pre-check rarely has more than 10 people in line. Great restaurants. Pretty quiet during the day. My only complaint is they need more stalls in the age of 💩 with smartphones.
Or just clean up the actual dog 💩 that was sitting just outside the Delta terminal on Monday morning... no sign or anything
I like DFW. Pretty spacious, easy to get around, lots of food options, plenty of lounges, lots of remodeled terminals.
Can park and be at gate in less than 10 min. Love it
LGA because it gives you a chance to get to know people from all over the world
Midway Airport in Chicago
Easy, yes, but the food overhaul two years ago was an absolute travesty. Hubbard Inn is a nice addition and there’s a rumor Midway is getting a certain Chicago Mexican joint…
DCA - small, easy to enter / exit. Close to the city
YES
Definitely not LAX
LAX gets a bad rap. TBIT-T4-T5-T6-T7 all being connected airside is a huge perk, especially with solid priority pass lounges and restaurants in TBIT. Cut throughs at least give options when there is terminal traffic, and TSA does a decent job imo given passenger volumes
DTW McNamara terminal. Hands down. No questions asked. Literally the best thing the city of Detroit has to offer (don’t let them fool you)
Big fan of Dulles. Spacious and not too confusing and some pretty top class Priority Pass lounges
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!
SNA - Orange County CA 🙏🏼♥️ the best, easiest and calmest airport there ever was
Food is pretty average...but otherwise it’s fantastic
Indianapolis
No One World lounge and 💩 food options
SFO...never delayed nor congested
Best food options of any airport and yoga rooms = 👌
DTW! McNamara is laid out beautifully and the cuisine options there boast a nice taste of homestate pride (Coney, Zingerman’s, etc.). Beautiful airport, great employees, and always clean. Can’t be beat.
LAS, BOS, YTZ (not US), DCA, SAN, and SNA, because they’re actually convenient to the city they serve.
Ytz is great. Any airport with free beer is automatically top 10
PDX - excellent Priority Pass restaurants/lounge options, rarely a line at security (and they've always been really friendly), easy train into downtown Portland plus a pretty unique multi story glass canopied passenger pickup area if going by car
I second PDX. I once flew from Oakland which feels more like a bus terminal to Portland. Got off the plane and first thing I saw/heard was a guy playing a harp. Literally felt like flying from hell to heaven.
I like BOS - easy to get in and out of the airport and also easy to navigate around inside.
My least favorite: bathrooms are awful, gates were built for 20 people with 200 people waiting to board, terrible selection of food, always delayed. (I’m on a project here and fly out of terminal A with delta)
ATL: 20 mins from downtown, super efficient train system, great layout.
