Hello DI folks,
I am looking for opinions on work at Deloitte India, especially in a client facing role ?
Is it comparable to Deloitte USI in terms of quality of work and culture ?
FYI - I would be joining Deloitte India in June
I’m trying to cultivate discussion oriented DEI spaces, any topical themes that would make fun and engaging discussions?
Do we have famous people in this bowl 👀👀👀👀?????
Has anyone here been to Zihuatanejo, Mexico? Parents have expiring timeshare credits and debating a trip.
Newbie investor asked me a question, they have $5k to invest and were wondering if they should put it in an index fund (S&P500 - which is what I’d normally recommend plus DCA thereafter) or if they should buy AMZN given that it is well off of its highs, is a solid company and would, in 12-18 months, likely grow faster than the S&P, as interest rates normalize over that time period, etc. That got me thinking… so I’m asking all of you, what would you do/recommend?
Anyone works at PHD media grp? Any idea how much media planning manager makes in Toronto?

What are the yearly hikes at jp morgan ?
I have offer from KPMG global and PWC AC ... Which one is better... Work life balance and growth wise
How much hike can Virtusa provide for 90 days notice period
I have cleared all rounds and shared the documents, HR is saying for 90 Days NP and no offer in hand we can provide maximum of 30% hike as per company policy. (If I bring another offer than they’ll revise it and also add joining bonus)
Also variable component is 9% as per company policy (which is too much )
And I’ve seen other offers of Virtusa having 5% variable
Please suggest how to proceed with this situation.
Thanks in advance

Buying a used car in the next few months. Having a hard time deciding between a “sports” car and SUV. I enjoy the ride of a car that has better handling and is fast but I also enjoy the height of a SUV and it’s practicality (I take weekend getaway trips often and trunk space) Can y’all bring me some perspective? Here are some options: Older Acura MDX, Infiniti G37 coupe, older Lexus rx350, CPO bmw 340i, CPO Lexus rx350 f sport
2016 golf r, 105k miles for $22,500. Good idea?
Any recommendations for a “destination” driving/riding school? Like pictured here, a course in SC for off road adventure riding. Want to meet up with a buddy and do something like this. We both ride motorcycles but are also open to off-road truck courses or on track performance driving. Just want something where we can bring nothing but ourselves and have some instructed fun for 1-3 days
Anyone drive an F-PACE? Love the design, 2017+ used are really well priced but worried about maintenance costs.
Surprise TR on a rainy NOLA morning
Planning to lease a bmw for the first time. Is the inspection at the end of lease very detailed ? like in terms of scratches, dings, dents etc not planning to get intentionally 😁 but iam worried that for a leased car i would have to drive it more carefully and maintain it really well as compared to if had financed/ bought the same.
About to do the final oil change covered under my BMW CPO maintenance coverage. At 46k miles and I need to try to keep it (328i) for another 3 years. Should I consider extending the maintenance plan?
For those buying your car at lease end, is there even a need to involve the dealer? I have a BMW fwiw. Can I just go through BMW FS?
Experience w/ Sonata hybrid?
Looking into a luxury German family vehicle (BMW, Porsche, or Benz). Anybody here buy new or is everyone just leasing these? I never lease but usually buy and hold cars and feel good if I keep up the maintenance. Unfortunately lot of folks tell me to only lease these brands and I’d rather not.
I just reserved the Pear! Very excited.🍐🍐🍐
model 3 vs the model s? I drove both and actually like the handling of the 3 better. I live in a city so the 3 would be much easier to park and move around. Cargo space seems fine. And it’s so much cheaper. What am I missing? If I wasn’t that concerned about the $ would I be silly to go for the 3?
Overheard at the Porsche dealership:
"I asked for a 911 and you're trying to pawn this 992 off to me! I know what I want. I want a 911, *not* a 992"
If only 😭😩

under $80k for me is the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio - 505hp Ferrari derived engine - for the car enthusiast part, AWD - for the Chicago and inherent snow/ice part (with appropriate winter tires), SUV - for the one car comment since it allows for some space for luggage/groceries.
Over $80k my favorite is the RSQ8.
The RS6 Avant is twice my budget.
E63 AMG wagon, carerra 4s, STi, VW golf R, used Audi RS4. Everything except the E63 is a manual and all have AWD I think. With snow tires you’ll be fine.
Currently own an E63 wagon and used to drive an STi, both are quite fun and practical and will do well in the cold.
How do u like the e63 wagon? What gen?
Porsche Macan GTS
It would be a Bronco far more than it is a defender if I’m totally honest
Definitely go Alfa Romeo, just lease if non quad model.
I would go for a cayman in this situation. They’re actually a fantastic daily and more practical than you’d expect
Dog, no kids.
Some hobbies that involve equipment (camping, scuba), Costco runs. Mostly worried about Chicago streets and weather.
wrx, maybe the ct4 black wing? (manual). civic type r (if you can get one). Bronco has a manual too i believe
