What’s the best CFE prep course? And does anyone know if EY reimburses?

Looking for advice on certifications, which is better to take 1st, CFE or CFCS or CAMS?

For those of you who have taken the CFE exams recently what did you use to study? Likes and dislikes of whatever material you used? Any recommendations for someone who is about to start studying?

Considering going for the CFE. What was your study plan for it and how long did it take?

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!

Anyone else taking the CFE and can give insight to whether the actual test was the same questions from the review/practice questions? Any study tips? FYI they are also changing their proctoring system in July. Thank you!

Can anyone provide some guidance to taking the CFE? As in which membership option to choose from followed by when exactly can we take the exam, if the entire amount is reimbursed or not? Just a generic timeline and additional required info. Don’t want to sign up yet if the exam dates are not flexible. Thank you.

Hello everyone, I wanted to understand I have done BBA and after that MBA in banking as minor and have been working as Fraud investigations Advisor I want to advance in my career so which certification is good CAMS or CFE, the Investigations I am currently doing are system automated we just have to follow the SOP and take action on the account, can anyone guide me how to proceed further in my career path and which certification can help me to advance in my career. Is it just me or does Canada have the worst requirements for CPA? Everywhere else its 4 or 5 exams. Here you have to go through 4 exams of CPA PEP and then two capstones to just qualify for the 3 day CFE exam. And then on top of all that, the salaries are so bad for Accountants here. Is it even worth it?

Has anyone worked in the disaster recovery Space and went directly into fraud? I’ve worked on disaster recovery projects as a Quality Assurance Analyst. Essentially we make sure no fraud is occurring. I haven’t had any luck finding a remote fraud role without my applications getting denied. I’ve been thinking about getting my CFE, as I’m sure that might help.

Is it just me or at EY Forensics everyone just blame any mistake on those below them. I sent something to a client with a mistake which my supervisor didn’t notice as well. When the client came back the supervisor just fully blamed me for it like they didn’t review the work themselves. I completely agree with taking responsibility for my mistakes but mistakes happen and there is no need to finger point like it’s not a team effort.

What hours of the day am I expected to be available in Forensics. I usually am available 8-6 and then if works need to get done them later. However I’m not sure what’s the expectations in EY Forensics.
