FA1 you haven't been gone six months K.R. don't over play your hand.
Well, if you aren't K.R. then I'm clearly referencing a different person.... However, why leave EJ for RJ? For all intents and purposes it's the same fcking thing. Just trying to understand why you would leave 20% of your assets for the same program. I've received the pitch multiple times, I didn't see the pros. Unless you're a compliance nightmare I don't see any reason to make that move.
Doesn’t RJ offer ever level of Indy? I just got a call from them last week and if they don’t offer all levels, I’m curious how they got my number or why even waste their time.
Fair enough, the RJ pitch I always get is not what you just said. Good luck
RJ does have different arms. I’m RJFS, independent, RJA is the employee side. I would guess that since more like EJ. I would look at RJFS in the future. Good luck
Interesting. Since there seems to be a little back and forth on this thread... How's the back office at Ray J. Is the freedom there to sell more of what you want... set up accounts more the way you want and still get paid via a fee on AUM there? For example let's say I truly believe that everybody ought to be invested 80 or so percent in equities with three years of spending on the sidelines. Could I do that there regardless of their age or spending habits? Or do I have to go full independant r i a?
3 months is what it took me from wire house to LPL and 2 months to go from LPL to Hybrid.
6 months to get 80+% of what I wanted, giving myself a year to get everything and close the door on anyone left. EJones to Raymond James
EJ1, sorry I forgot you know me and when I left.
Over 9 months now and at 94% of assets I wanted, went from 375 HH down to 175
If you want true freedom, highest payouts and full flexibility call
EJ1, not the same. I now own my business and my clients are mine. You are an employee and Jones owns the clients. I left under 15% of my book but half the clients...exactly what STL wants Advisors to do (goodknight) but now I have more options and flexibility. The lack of STL control is huge.
Short answer...yes, yes and yes
