What’s the best practice to report an incompetent TFS / HR Partner? Or do they just such across all the MUs and are we supposed to accept that?

They’ve increasingly gotten worse. We had it good with our TFS in TS before the NGGM but the quality has consistently gone down.

I think you need to lower your expectations. I joined a few years ago from a competitor and quickly realized that HR is more administrative. They are not equipped to deal with people issues and little help if you personally need their assistance. They are policy people not roll your sleeves up and help type of people.


It’s just crazy that we have to accept how incredibly mediocre and unhelpful HR is.


Work with the talent leads. Keep the HR partner in copy, but talent leads are more helpful.

I was shocked at the coldness and lack of empathy that my HR partner exhibited when I approached her for a HR issue. She didn’t even know how to do some of her administrative tasks and would leave me hanging in mid-air, when I had some questions about policies. She will say that she has to check with somebody and won’t respond on a timely basis…by that time, the issue would have become bigger and it would be on me to carry the cross. So, incompetent!Almost lost my job because of this lady…
