Planes.
Do free tier of AWS. Deploy a static website to S3, then deploy an application to Elastic Beanstalk. Then make that app interface with a Database hosted thru RDS, then etc.
Basically open an account and go thru some free tutorials.
Thanks!!
I think the best possible and fastest way is to go to a mountain top... sprint to the edge and jump!!
Corny. Especially after the plane joke lol good try though.
Get a digital Ocean account, try to automate stuff with terraform and gocd for example.
Idk how it is at Deloitte but I know at Accenture one role to the next can be completely different, meaning if you wanna get on a cloud migration project you simply have to apply, interview and secure the position. And once your on the project you will learn all you wanna know about the cloud environment
Cloud native is kind of a big ocean. I would first decide if you want to be in either the devops, application architecture, operational, agile transformation, or any combination. There are also specialties in each, such as big data/Hadoop, serverless, etc. As other posters have put it, do some training, join a project, and dive into it. I also like the idea of getting a free tier account on AWS and start playing with formation scripts, deploy some lambdas, maybe connect to dynamo db. Good luck though :)
Take flying lessons 😂
Break the cloud . You mean make it rain 😂?
Jokes apart what's your background- infra / app-dev ? Open a free tier account and get started with tutorials. If you like a particular area try studying for an initial certification .
DM me if you want to talk more. I've setup colleagues on the journey after doing it myself
And given that you work for Deloitte reach out to your cloud practice folks for trainings and other learning opportunities
Network! It worked for me.
Shouldn't be that hard even federal is doing cloud implementations these days
