Do you think winning awards help you get better positions? I feel like people barely see the awards I've won on my resume. It's more discussion about my experience.

My new employer is ready to file gc (eb2) for me based on approved i-140 I have from previous employer. I know that we have to file for lca etc. again and given last year’s uscis visa bulletin when eb3 dates moved ahead of eb2 I am wondering if I should tell them to wait until September/October when new bulletin comes to adjust the category eb2 vs eb3 then? Does Lca depends on eb2/3 category or is it independent? Will it be a mistake on my part to wait for bulletin if lca has nothing to do ebs?

It annoys the hell out of me that airlines charge to check your bags prior to security but always offer to check your baggage complimentary at the gate. (Not that I want to check my bag, but still)
Help: I’m in my 5th year as a consultant and about to be promoted. I have no strong technical skills. Somehow I’ve been able to make it and everyone says I’m really good. I’m currently a non-technical PM where I mostly handle project financials, ensure deadlines are on track, following Agile, etc. My experience was in an almost 4 years project with extremely scattered shallow experience(PMA, testing, BA, C.M). What in demand skills can I learn fairly quickly and be able to compete for positions?
