I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.

They have those little posture correctors called Upright. From my understanding it is meant to function as a reminder when you aren’t sitting up straight so you get into the habit.
Dead Lift .
This is the real answer. Try 10 reps of deadlifts and you’ll know 100% this will straighten you up
Presence. The book. Also daily affirmations and listening to Les Brown and/or Brené brown

Try doing more upper back exercises and build a strong core

I always hunch over my computer like a troll, and practicing mindfulness has helped me correct my posture (and save my back) A LOT
Just check in with yourself throughout the day to see if you’re inadvertently slouching. It’ll get easier to catch yourself then you’ll eventually be able to stand straight without even thinking about it!
Practice in front of the mirror
Conscious about when you are doing it and try to correct it every time. With time you will be fine. Also, stretching and vote exercises will help
This is for everyone here saying lift. Lifting without proper form will damage your back.
Just do these every day - nice free way to fix the croissant slouch. If you aren’t feeling it, sink deeper until you do.
